Second Chances Chapter sixteenSecond Chances
For the first time in forever both Spot and Jenna were shocked that someone would trick them. The whole trip to Dreamland had been a waste, when the gang realized that the so-called fortune teller was nothing but a sham. Bardock knew that this trip was going to be a waste from the start, but the large Saiyan knew that there was no stopping the bandits when their minds were made up. But Bardock did feel a little bad for the teenage girl that was running the booth, since the bandits scared the girl so bad, after finding out that she wasn’t a real fortune teller.
“Can you believe that? That this crazy park doesn’t have a real fortune teller. What’s the world coming to when you can’t cheat the system, to get my favorite team back together.” Whined Jenna surprised that her and Spots idea had failed.
“Jen, stop your whinin’. If anyone has the right to whine it’s me.” Growled Spot, annoyed
Debt was a word Bardock had heard many times in his life. The Saiyan had never really given the word or the meaning behind the word a thought, until now. Sure the warrior had heard Chichi a number of times say that her and Kakarot were in debt and that he needed a job; or the fact that he’d heard that the Saiyan’s were in debt to serve Lord Frieza. The last thought just made Bardock’s head spin, because getting involved with Frieza was wrong from the beginning. How could such a little word cause so much trouble and mean so many things. The warrior could never imagine how many times he’d rescued Fasha, or heck even Tora, but they owed no debt to him. Bardock had never thought of a member of his team owing him for something that could mean life or death. If that was the case Fasha owed him a lifetime of debt; but no the warrior wasn’t like that. When there was the fact that brought about this whole thought process, when his daughter-in-law,
Glancing in the mirror only made it worse. Fasha wanted nothing more than to destroy every mirror in apartment, because it only seemed to mock her. Letting out a sigh, the small Saiyan shook her head in disgust at her current appearance. The one night she spent with Bardock, and this was how he repaid her. Fasha had thought about marching into Bardock room and kill him; but that wouldn’t have been wise. Sure she had let her emotions show for her commander, and this was how she was repaid after what she thought was a night of passion. Bardock could rot in HFIL for all she cared, as soon as she could find her clothes, she was outta here.
During her furious rage around the apartment, Fasha hadn’t realized Bardock slip into the kitchen, watching the small Saiyan avoid the mirror at all cost. Bardock leaned against the counter waiting to see how long it would take Fasha to notice his presentence. Turning away from the mirror, Fasha finally noticed Bardock prop
On a planet far, far, away from planet Vegeta, a group of Saiyan warriors sat huddled around the campfire that was providing the only light and heat. The group of warriors sat quietly in the dark, as they began thinking on how to fix one of the space pods that decided to malfunction leaving the Saiyans stuck on the cleared planet.
“I still say that you guys, head back home and send a pod back while I stay here.” Comment Tora, knowing it was a pretty good idea, knowing it would get everyone back home.
“No way Tora, for all we know the locals could have tampered with the pods, hoping that we would leave like you said; and surprise an ambush on whosever chose to stay behind.” Growled Bardock, knowing it was not wise to spilt the team up, because that’s when mistakes happen.
“There has got to be a way, to get off this mudball. Have you came up with an idea yet , Bardock;” asked Shugavish, as he poked at the fire with
The Baby Shower part twoThe Baby Shower
Dinner had went better than expected, Chichi couldn’t believe that dinner hadn’t ended in Raditz throwing Goku out of his house; but instead things had went rather smooth. This little test of dinner had given Chichi the confidents that she could indeed throw a baby shower for Oko.
“Goku, I have to say that dinner with your brother wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. Personally, I though he wasn’t either going to let his in or to throw us out. Goku, I want you to be honest with me….Do you think I can throw this shower for Oko?
The large Saiyan seemed to be in deep thought as he sat there staring at his wife. “Chichi I don’t know what you’re worried about. Sure by brother is very intimidating, but this isn’t for him it’s for his wife; as far as we know she seems pretty normal, except that she’s married to Raditz. So stop your worrying. Chichi you’re going to do fine.”
